Created by René Michaud in 1933 for the PLM railways, this vintage advertising poster puts Megève in the spotlight. The artist’s choice is no coincidence, as he is a specialist in ring road sketches. This advertising visual is dedicated to the inauguration of the town’s very first cabin. Thanks to technological innovations, the originally anonymous station was later transformed into a prime destination at the beginning of the 20th century. Fond of playing with perspectives, Michaud used the ring road cables to create vanishing points.
