Description of this Poster The Gendarme of Saint-Tropez
Signed Clément Hurel, discover the famous poster that served as an advertisement for the classic 1964 film “The Gendarme of Saint-Tropez”. Louis de Funès played Ludovic Cruchot, and this film was such a success that it spawned a series of 6 sequels. This visual, entirely hand-drawn, is original because it stands out from the photographic montages that existed at the time. It shows the face of Louis de Funès drawn in a realistic manner, while the rest is drawn in a cartoon style. This poster takes up nudism, which is the heart of the film’s plot. This beautiful retro poster is such a beautiful decorative object that it will be perfect for your wall decoration!
