Description of this Vintage Menton Poster
Dating from 1935, this reproduction of a vintage advertising poster for PLM was created by Charles Beglia, who produced a huge amount of advertising visuals for cities in the South of France. The illustration is a superb representation of Menton, which is called “The Pearl of France”: we can see seagulls beating their wings above the azure sea, boats near the harbor wall in the background, and of course, the city and its promenade. In the center, the palm tree is there to recall the Mediterranean climate. This superb vintage poster will give a new dimension to your wall decoration by giving a retro style to your interior!
