Created by Gaston Gorde in 1936, this vintage advertising poster of the mountains shows us the Val D’Isère resort. We can see a skier with a very sporty gesture hurtling down a slope. A cabin just above him is grafted with the ski resort’s coat of arms. The clever play between color tones allows the objects of this advertising visual to be highlighted in a rather splendid way. At the bottom of the poster, the altitude of the resort is indicated: 1850 to 3650 meters.
