Description of this Be Beautiful and Shut Up Poster
Be Beautiful and Shut Up is a 1958 French black-and-white crime comedy film directed by Marc Allégret.
The film stars Alain Delon and Jean Paul Belmondo in early roles as gang members.
The protagonist, Mylène Demongeot, is a teenage orphan who, after escaping from her detention center, joins a Parisian burglar gang. She then meets by chance a young police inspector (played by Henri Vidal) with whom she falls in love, marries him, and begins a decent life with him.
The story shows how her old acquaintances from the criminal underworld become suspects in a jewelry heist.
